Wayfarer Psalms

Wayfarer's Psalms

Simply that - a wayfarer, a pilgrim, searching on the path of God - at times in a murky road. Through wonderful and touching hymns with brief histories, and quoted biblical verses, the pilgrim hopes to reach a point where truth is revealed, and ultimately, to understand the Creator’s leading, and why.

Included in this site are meaningful and glorious history of favourite hymns, verses from the scriptures, and reflections from verses and random thoughts that come to mind at break of dawn.

“Then sings my soul my Saviour God to thee.
How great thou art! How great thou art!”

Walking with God means taking steps of faith and trusting Him each and every moment of one's life.

“If I rise on the wings of dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” - Psalm 139: 9-10.

Gripped by occasional loneliness and anxieties, amongst others, I most especially dedicate this site to all those living alone, either by choice or circumstance. You may be alone, but not alone.  As Horatio Spafford poignantly wrote, It is well with my soul.
